KENNEL ASSISTANT - $17 per hour – Starts May 6, 2025. 

We would prefer a year-round employee but would be willing to consider summer only.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, upbeat individual who would be comfortable working around groups of dogs.  The ideal candidate would be willing to work hard to maintain the level of cleanliness that we pride ourselves in a The Dog Paws Inn.

Experience is helpful but not necessary.  Training will be provided.   Also, there may be opportunity for advancement to the position of Dog Handler for an employee who works year-round. 

Hours: 

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Job Description: Kennel Assistant

Keep the facility clean, indoors and out. Cleaning would include but not be limited to sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, washing dishes, emptying trash, scooping poop, emptying poop buckets, raking leaves, pulling weeds, raking and shoveling gravel, shoveling snow (winter) and cleaning dog pens. Assist the Manager, Assistant Manager, and other employees as requested. Learn and comply with all safety rules and any other employee rules.
